I love taking photos with an astronomical theme, but this one has a particularly amusing story behind it. A documentary crew filmed me during an actual working night at a telescope for this show. They set up a projection on the dome of the telescope of an image of my favorite astrophysical object and filmed some of the video with a bunch of stars on my face, it looked awesome. While they were setting up, I realized that I could take a great silhouette image of myself. The photo allows me to have an anonymous version of myself next to my beloved globular cluster, while standing at my favorite telescope.
